‘Creating a bond of love’
It was a day when young Saketians turned into little artisans, With creativity and colours- red, yellow and cyan, It was a day when celebration of love between brothers and sisters began, And making the best ‘knot of protection’ was the only plan.
The auspicious day of rakshabandhan was celebrated in Saket international school , with great zeal and zest. In which Celebrations were organized for classes Nur – II, Rakhi making competition was organized for classes III To VIII whereas Thali decoration competition was held for class IX. All the students made a number of creative and colourful rakhis and decorated the Thali with flowers, threads, beads of modern with traditional styles, which was aimed at strengthening the bond of love and to instill the virtues of love and harmony among the young, growing Saketians. The competition was judged on the basis of originality. The designs were so creative and fascinating that it was very difficult to come out with a single winners’ list.
